Welcome to the Scarborough and District Branch of the YACR.  Our area stretches from the seaside resorts of Bridlington and Flamborough on the coast in the south-east to the pretty market town of Helmsley in the west, taking in Ryedale and the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park in between.  We have an interesting mix of bells, including the Great Exhibition award winning 10 at Scarborough, vintage Taylor 8s at Bridlington, Helmsley and Norton-juxta-Malton and a complete Mears & Stainbank 8 at Pickering, light 6s at Filey, Flamborough, Kirkbymoorside, Middleton and Scalby, a couple of 5s almost next door to each other at Brompton-by-Sawdon and Wykeham, and a smattering of 3s of varying ringability!

Whether you are holidaying or organising a ringing tour in our beautiful part of the world, you will be most welcome to join us for Sunday Service ringing, practices and Branch events.  Any of our Branch officers will be more than happy to help and give you further information.
