CCCBR AGM weekend, Sheffield – Volunteers required please
The 2025 Central Council AGM weekend is hosted by YACR within Sheffield from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September to be part of the YACR 150th anniversary year.
A number of volunteers are required to assist with this event on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Roles include ‘meet and greet’, handing out wristbands, clean up, etc and will be broken down to the hour of each day. If you can volunteer (hour or more) during the weekend please do and contact branch secretary Philip Hoole secretary@yacrsheffieldanddistrict.org.uk by Sunday 17th August 2025 deadline to aid with event planning. Volunteers are required to run this event to make it a success as YACR host.
- Friday 5th Sept:
General ringing will be available at towers en route to Sheffield. Routes will follow the main roads into the city. Evening ringing will be at Sheffield Anglican Cathedral with a social event in the church afterwards. - Saturday 6th Sept:
Welcome desk and registration. Ringing World AGM. CCCBR AGM. Social event in the Niagara Conference Centre (S6 1LU). - Sunday 7th Sept:
Service ringing at local churches. Roadshow event at the Niagara Conference Centre (S6 1LU), including exhibitors, trades and speakers on a range of subjects.

CCCBR are offering free Saturday lunch for volunteers on the Saturday and free Roadshow ticket for volunteers on the Sunday. Please contact branch secretary Philip Hoole to register as a volunteer.
