Tykes visit Liverpool31st August 2025
On 31st August 2025 The Yorkshire Tykes held a successful visit to Liverpool, Pier Head (12 bells) and Liverpool Cathredral (12 bells). Both are fantastic towers and we had some good ringing at each one. Obviously Liverpool Cathedral is home to the largest ringable set of bells in the world, with the tenor weighing in at a massive 82cwt (approx 4 tonnes). A few of our ringers were able to ring the tenor without assistance, with excellent style. We were also joined by ex-Tykes Annie Faulkner and Ewan Hull, always great to see our former members helping out.
