Beyond Bob Major Monthly practices for anyone who can already ring touches of Grandsire Triples and/or Plain Bob Major Moving from Grandsire Triples and Plain Bob Major to Surprise Major is a MASSIVE step. There are lots of intermediate methods that can be rung as stepping stones but, unfortunately, many of them are not rung very often. Examples include Stedman Triples, St Clements Major, Kent Treble Bob Major, Double Norwich Major and Duffield Major. There are LOTS more! Different methods are useful for different reasons, e.g. improving striking, helping with ropesight and developing different learning techniques. Beyond Bob Major practices are an opportunity to ring many of these methods (not all in the same month). Some of the methods will be rung at just one practice while others will hopefully become part of our standard repertoire. Surprise Major will NOT be on the agenda! The first Beyond Bob Major practice will be as follows:

Sunday 14th June, 14:30 – 16:00, Keighley

Special methods: Gainsborough Little Bob Major and Duffield Major (a principal). Please learn the calls as well as the plain course.
